A heritage listed building on Sydney's North shore, whilst a large building, had small cellular spaces on the primary living floor much too small for a modern family of six. Contemporary, but sympathetic kitchen and bathroom insertions sit comfortably within the early 20th century dwelling. The newly configured plan provides much needed communal space for the family and brings light into the home.
